No British-made suits are now allowed to enter France, consequently well-to-do Parisians, as well as Englishmen and Americans living in Paris who always buy their clothes from English tailors,.are unable to replenish their wardrohes. Apparentlv the only metliod is to visit London and return wearing the suits. The French and British Ghambers of Commerce have taken up the matter but the French Customs authorities are olxlurate.
