A POPULAR ROAD

THE EAST COAST ROUTE There have been many campers from all parts coming into the Opotiki' district in the last few days. Many moro than usual have gone to Ohiwa Beach this year. The fame of the Opotiki to Cape Runaway Road (more ■commonly known as the East Goast Road) has been very widely spread. The A.A.A. agent, Mr. C. Pipe, reports that he is receiving several enquiries daily about this road. There are parties from Gisborne, Hamilton, Palmerston North and Wellington already encamped there.
