SERIOUS FIRE
STORE OF WOOL BURNED AT IMLAY FREEZING WORKS Wanganui, Wednesday. Three engines were engaged in fighting a fire which was discovered to-night in the wool department of the Imlay Freezing Works. The fire • had hurnt the rooni when the hrigade ;Was informed, but a big brick- wall prevented the spread of the flames and the outbreak was under control in half an hour. A large quantityofbales -of wool was destroyed. The cause of the fire is unknown.
