OTAGO BEATS WELLINGTON BY SEVENTY SEVEN RUNS Wellington, Wednesday. In the Plunlcet Shield cricket match Otago seored a clear cut victory over Wellington by 77 runs. The Southerners owed their win to the superior bowling of Badcock, who bowling unehanged, sent down 59.1 overs, 30 of which were maidens, and captured six wickets for 72 runs. The scores were: Otago, 147 and 247, Wellington, 116 and 201.
