LOST WHILE TRYING TO LOCATE GOLD REEF

Rec. Dec. 27, 11 p.m. Sydney, Dec. 27. An aeroplane piloted by H. Baker with two passengers, B. Whelan and N. Stuckey, who were trying to locate a gold reef, is missing in Central Australia. A request has been made to the Air Force to provide search 'planes. Nothing has been seen of the missing machine since Thursday when it left the Livesay Range in Central Australia.
