REGARDED AS TRIUMPH
— By Telegiaph — Copvrlg'ht).
Rec. Dec. 27 11.35 p.m. Sydney Dec. 27. His Majesty's broadcast on Christmas Day was heard in Sydney early in the morning most distinctly. There was slight fading now and again but only a word or two were lost. Speaking to all parts of the Empire, listeners all over Australia heard how people of every other important city spend Christmas day. Reports from throughout the Commonwealth state that the reception was a £riumph.
