trans-atlantic flights BY german 'planes

Rec. Dec. 27. Berlin, Dec. 26. Under the leadership of Dr. Hugo Eckener, a group of Anglo-German business men has arranged to start regular trans-Atlantic Zeppelin services in the spring. The airships will call at Cardington, Bedfordshire, which has been chosen because it possesses a hydro-generation plant. The promoters hope to maintain a weekly service, via Seville, to South America. Later, if finance is forthcoming, services will be extended to Canada and the United States.
