An X-ray Eye

The service cars and railway parcels service have heen ealled on to handle an exceptional numher of parcels recently and the various agents are kept busy trying to get each' parcel to its correet destination. One agent rang up a lady and told her he had a parcel there addressed to her only to be aslced where it was from. This he did not know, but nothing daunted the good lady asked: "Can you tell me what is in it?" The agent is still wondering if the lady in question thought he had second sight or an X-ray eye. Breakdown at Majestic The breaking of a wire on the generator, caused the dislocation of the plant at the Majestic Theatre last evening and the management was unable to proceed with the programme. Strenuous efforts were made to locate the trouble and late last evening, the electrieians discovered the source of the break-down. The trouble has now been rectified and the scheduled programme will be given this evening. Continuous Dancing Continuous dancing with alternate jazz and old time music is scheduled at the Majestic Ballroom this evening. This innovation has already proved extremely popular in Rotorua, but to very many visitors, it will prove an exhilerating change. Delay between dances is entirely eliminated, and both classes of dancing have an equal share of the programme.
