YOUTHFUL BAND
YOUNG AUSTRALIANS ARRIVE IN ROTORUA TO-DAY •One of the most interesting events of to-day's carnival programme will be the arrival of the Young Australia League Boys' Band. This band is recognised as one of the most outstanding juvenile musical combinationswhich has ever been assembled and its arrival in Rotorua during carnival week is a distinct event. The band will arrive by the midday express and headed by their dimin utive drum major, Master Charlie Stanton, will march from the station to the Borough Council chambers, where it will be accorded a civic reception. The march should he impressive as the boys have a most attractive uniform with gaily coloured cape and carry their own colours in the van. Their first concert is scheduled for this evening.
