Rec. Dec. 20, 8.40 p.m. Adelaide, Dec. 20. In the Sheffield Shield niateh against South Australia, New South Wales in the second innings lost seven wiclcets for 86 runs. The overnight batsmen, Oldfield and O'Reilly obtained the required 11 runs to win, although there were thrills in the final seven minutes of play. Grimnxett dropped a neat catch from O'Reilly' and Walker almost stumped -Oldfield. Wall took four wickets for 31 and Grinxmett two for 41. New South Wales won by three wickets.
