NO WARSHIPS SENT
Rec. Dec. 20. London, Dec. 19. In the House of Commons, the First Lord of the Admiralty, Sir Bolton Eyres-Monsell stated that no warships had been sent to Persian waters to protect the Anglo-Persia oil company's interest. Geneva, Dec. 19. Mr. Sean Lester (Free State representative), who is presiding over th'e League of Nations Assembly in the ahsence of Mr. de Valera, has telegraphed to the British and Persian Governments declaring his confid'ence that both would refrain from aggravating the dispute pending a settlement.
