Rec. Dec. 20, 8.40 p.m. Canberra, Dec. 20. The New Zealand offer to resume liabilities for war debts payments in no way involve's Australia in its immediate action. The next Australian payments will not fall due until March 31. Official circles express the opinion that owing to the uncertainty of the world position and the possibility of some future arrangement between Great Britain and the United States, any decision upon the subject would be premature.
