MR. HUGHES' OPINION

Rec. Dec. 20, 9 p.m. Sydney, Dec. 20. Mr. W. M. Hughes, upon his return from England said that no matter what was the immediate result of default by France, Belgium and other nations, cancellation of war debts is inevitable. "I eonsider that in the face of the British Note, and of the attitude of defaulting nations, the United States will be compelled to review its decision."
