HERRIOT GOVT. DEFEATED OVER WAR DEBTS QUESTION AMERICA BITTERLY ATTACKED i After a protracted and bitter debate, the French Chamher of Deputies has rejected M. HerrioPs . proposal to pay with reservations the war d'eht due to America today. As a result, the Herriot Goverriment has resigned. Belgium and Poland have also decided to default. The British Chancellor of the Exchequer, Mr, Neville Chamberlain has announced Britain's intention to make separate settlement with the U.S.A..
