WOMAN'S SUCCESS
WINS COVETED CLASSICAL SCHOLARSHIP AT OXFORD Rec. Dec. 14j 10 p.m.
London, Dec. 14. Miss Barbara Flower, aged 20 years, an undergraduate of St. Margarets, won the Craven Scholarship, the most coveted classical award at Oxford. This is the first time a woman has been the victor. Miss Flower spealcs French, German, and Celtic, in addition to Latin ■ and Greek. She is the daughter of Dr. Flower, deputy-keeper of manuscripts of the British Museum.
