GOOD JERSEYS
RECORDS AT MORRINSVILLE. That there are some good pedigree Jerseys in the newly-formed Morrinsville Jersey Club's district was shown by the August merit-list of Jerseys under semi-official test. The second heifer of the month in the three-year-old class for the whole of New Zealand was Restholme Belle, the property of Mr. J. J. Goodwin, of Taulcoro Road, Morrinsville. She gave 57.681b of fat for wh'at was her iirst complete calendar month. Mr. Goodwin is a member of the committee of the Morrinsville Jersey Club and of the committee of the Morrinsville A. and P. Society. Restholme Belle's sire was Holly Oak Superlative (Grannie's Knight C.B.B. — Lady Superior, 2nd class, 9971b fat), while iher dam, Restholme Rita, C.O.R., 5291b fat as a junior two-year-old, is by Vivandiere Laddie, full brother to Vivandiere's Prince from the famous cow, Vivandiere. Restholme Rita was from Pierette, wh'd was by a :son of Roberts (imp) and of Belvedere Sungleam rfom Noble Queien Bess, the dam of Viola's Queen Bess V.H.G.
