Teams from the Whakatane District High School which are at present visiting Opotiki, yesterday xnet the Opotiki D.H.S. representatives in cricket matches. The girls also fielded a team and provided a most interesting match. Visitors Entex-tained After the games had been played the visitox-g were entertained at afternoon tea in the school grounds. Mr. W. E. Donolly, of Whakatane D.H.S. , bx-iefly thanked the headmastex*, Mr. Kibblewhite, and the Opotiki teachers and pupils for the very enjoyable day they had provided. He recalled a similar visit by Opotiki D.H.S. to Whakatane last year and expx*essed a hope that there would be many further visits. Whakaitane theirgave three cbeers for Opotiki. Mr. Kibblewhite and Mr. E. Seville, representing the school committee, reciprocated the visitors' good wishes and called for cheers for Whakatane.
