Hamilton, Tuesday. There was an extra heavy yarding of sheep at the weekly stock sale at the Frankton yards to-day. Wethers, hoggets and lambs sold up to late quotations while e-wes were hard to dispose of. There was a good yarding of ox and cow beef and last week's quotations were maintained. Pigs came forward in large numbers and quotations for baconers were a shade easier than the previous sale. Quota tions : —

Sheep. — Prime fat shorn wethers, 11s 6d to 12s 6d; medium ditto. 10s 6d to 11s 3d; prime hoggets, 11s to 12s 3d; lig'ht and medium, 9s to 10s 6d; light and medium oindl uaoinin 6d; prime maiden ewes, 8s 6d to 10s 6d; reavy fat ewes, 5s to 6s; light medium, 4s 6d to 5s; prime. fat lambs, 11s to 12s 6d; lighter, 8s to 10s- 8d; prime shorn lambs to 9s 6d. Beef. — Runners, 22s 6d to 30s; vealers, 10s to 12s; prime fat steers, £5 10s to £5 15s; medium ditto., £4 12s 6d to £5 2s' 6d; light ditto, £3 17s 6d to £4 7s 6d; killable steers, £2 13s to £3 14s; fat cows and heifers, £4 5s to £4 10s; medium fat cows £3 5s to £3 18s 6d. Pigs. — Baconers 30s to 40s; porlcers 24s to 28s; weaners, lVs to 14s; stores, 20s to 25s.
