HIDDEN ALL OVER THE HOUSE A liorde of dogs was kept hy Bcatrice Burton, of Leigh-on-Sea, Essex. Neighbours requested the investigation. _ A sanitary inspector found the dogs hidden in baskets, boxes, cupboards, and ■ drawers — in fact, in every noolc and J cranny in the house. There were 29 ! of them, and one rabbit. Nineteen of , them were without licences. The rea- ! son the animals were hidden was that ' the woman had stated there were only j seven dogs in the house. i i
