ADMITS FALSIFYING HIS EMPLOYERS' BOOKS

Auckland, Monday. Reginald Yictor Deacon Hull, aged 39 years; company secretary, admitted in the Police Court to-day that he had stolen £958 18s, the property of his employers, Co-operative Fisheries of New Zealand, Ltd. An auditor who gave- evidence said accused, who received £5 10s weelcly, had more work to do than was reasonable. Accused in a statement admitted falsifying the books to conceal shortages. The thefts were committed between Octoher 9, 1931, and September 24, 1932. Accused, who was committed for sentence and allowed bail, is a married man with four children.
