Melbourne, Dec. 8. In the Victorian tennis championships, II. Hopman defeated J. van Ryn 6-3, 6-3, 5-7, 6-0. E. Vines defeated A. Guest 6-2, 6-4, 3-6, 8-6. Crawford defeated Gledhill 6-4, 7-5, 3-6, 11-9. Miss N. Hall defeated Mrs. van Ryn 4-6, 6-1, 7-5. Mrs van Ryn and Miss Anthony defeated Misses Wrigley and Lewis, 6-2, 6-4. Sproule defeated McGrath, 13-11, 6-8, 6-3, 6-0. Vines defeated Gledhill, 4-6, 6-3, 12-10, 7-5.
