DAIRY BOARD URGES NEED FOR IMMEDIATE RELIEF OF FARMERS Wellington, Wednesday. Following a lengtby discussion at a meeting to-day of the very great difficulties facing produeers, the committee of the Dairy Board, comprising Mr. W. A. Iorns (chairman), Messrs Dynes-Fulton and T. A. Winter, interviewed the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes and the Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates, urging that something be dohe to relieve the desperate plight of farmers consequent upon a further drastic fall in prices. They received a most sympathetic hearing and it was arranged that Cahinet would meet the Dairy Board early in the New Year.
