Tokio, December 6. The cruiser Swarabi while proceeding from Kure to Formosa is reported to have sunk in a violent storm 100 miles from its destination. Over 100 were drowned. * Three other destroyers were in the vicipity when they received the Swarabi's distress signal, but owing to darkness, she was invisible to her companions. They picked up 14 sur-viv-ors, but one suhsequently died. One hundred and seven are missing.
