MYSTERY DANCE
PROMOTED BY THE D.H.S. OLD PUPILS' ASSN. A well attended "Mystery Dance" was held ixi the Lyrie Hall on Saturday evening. The function was run by the O. D.H.S. Old Pupils' Association, the committee boys acting as M.C.,'s. ^he music was supplied by Mrs. F. Rennet's Semla Orchestra with an extra by Mrs. Rennet herself . A "mystery waltz" was won by Miss D. McNee and Mr. S. Main, Miss McNee being presented with a cucumber. Lively dance numbers wiled away a happy evening. Amongst those present were: — Misses J. Martin, D. McNee, F. Abbott, L. Bennett, K. Jephson, M. Day, M. Lowe, N. Parkinson, M. Berkmyer, A. Dodgson, J. Kelly, B. Kelly, V. Hutt, M. Hutt, J. Walker, B. Short, N. Kemp, D. Patterson, I. Kirkbride, E. Kirkbride, M. Nea'l„ D. Hartshorne, G. Stewart, E. Smith, J. Lovell, B. Kidd. Tennis f rocks were the order of dress for the evening.
