SATURDAY'S FIXTURES
FORTNIGHTLY MEETING OF ROTORUA ASSN. EXECUTIVE GENERAL BUSINESS The fortniglitly meeting of the Rotorua Criclcet Association was held , last evening. j Letters were received from the ; Tauranga Cricket Club asking for ; dates for a match in Rotorua. It ; was decided to reply notifying Tauranga that available dates would he given at some later time. The Old Boys' Club wrote challenging for the Williams' Cup. The challenge was referred to the Albion Club which will submit to the Old Boys' Club dates on which it is prepared to defend the trophy. The draw for matches commencing on Saturday, December 10, is as follows : — Albion v- Old Boys, Government Grounds, No. 1. High School A v. Ngongotaha, School No. 1. High School B v. City, Government Gardens, No. 2. It was decided to send a representative team to Whakatane to play the Bay of Plenty ' Sub-Association team on December 18. Mr. J. J. Lewis was appointed manager (tentatively) . The Tourist Department Club was given permission to use the assoeiation's gear on December 18 for a return match against the Native Land Gourt. Affiliation fee to Bay of Plenty As-t-ociation was passed for payment.
