Rome, December 1. .Cai'dinal Bourne is seriously ill with a bronchial cold and gastric influenza. His heart is already weak, and his condition is causing anxiety. His Holiness the Pope repeatedly inquires as to his condition. His Eminence Cardinal Bourne, is 71 years of age. He was the Roman Catholic Bishop of Southwark from 1897 to 1903, when he became Arehbishop of Westminster. He was created a Cardinal in November, 1911.
