London, Nov. 25. Gold to-day was quoted at £6 7s 8d an ounce, compared with £6 6s lOd yesterday. Sterling opened to-day at 3 dollars 22J cents and at mid-day had declined to 3 dollars 22 cents-, with little selling, but the position appeared to be well in hand. The franc rate is 82 3-8.
