Calcutta, Nov. 24. It is authoritatively stated that there is no truth in the runioiirs that Sir Herbert Samuels and Sir Sanruel Hoare have agreed to Gandhi's release. The Viceroy (Lord Willingdon) haade it clear that Gandhi coulj secure release oiily by disassociating himself with the disobedience movement. It is understood that Gaiidhi informed the Government that he stands committed to disobedieiiCe.hoth as an article of faith and a political weapon untii the . Government concedes fuliy the Congress demands.
