Weather: Still some scattered showers in western districts more especially in Ihe South Island; fine and w^rm in eastern districts at first, ,but showers on the East^ Coasf mainly about to-morrow mornfng. Following are the barometer, maximum and minimum tHermometer, sunshine, ancf rainfall readings recorded at the Government ObServation Station by the Rotorua Tourist Pepartment fpr the" 24 hours ended at 9.^0 a.m. yesterday. - * Barometer 29.820ins. Thermometer (max.) 70.3deg. Thermometer (mi'n.) .... 49.0deg. Thermometer (min. on grass) 37.5deg. Rainfall Nil Bright Sunshine 4.7hrs.
