The two concluding games of the Pennant match between the Opotiki and the Citizens' bowling cluhs took place on Wednesday afternoon and resulted as follows, Opotiki teams being mentioned first: G. Moody, A. Young, J. Tabb, . F. Short (s) 22 beat Maddren, D. Miller C. Tabb, W. Battle (s) 16. G. Russell, J. Clarke, W. Stevenson, G. Dawson (s) 23 beat Mcllwraith, Hawkins, V. Dick, Wlhite (s) 12. The Opotiki Cluh had a lead of 20 pomts in the Saturday games and by mcreasing* their lead by 17 points on Wednesday succeeded in regaining the Pennant.
