The Cambridge Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd., has fixed its advance payments for butter-fat supplied during Octoher at 9id lb, for hutter-mak-ing and lOd for ch'eese-making. The total advance for the month will he £23>143, bringing the season's total up to £56,050. Over the same period last year the payout was lld lb fof butter and ls for cheese, the payout heing £25,682 and the season's total £57,994. The New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited, has fixed its advance payments for finest quality but-ter-fat supplied during Octoher at 9|d per lb for butter-making and 10M a lb for eheese-making. The company's rates of advance for the previous month were lld per lb for butter and llid per lb for cheese. The advances for Octoher, 1931, were on a similar basis.
Payouts hy butter factories this month will be on a lower scale than for th'e last few months on aecount of the recession in butter prices, from 8d to 8ld heing mentioned as the figure. — Stratford Post. Th'e Te Aroha-Thames Valley Cooperative Dairy Company made its usual monthly advance p^junent to shareholders at the rate of 101d per lb. butter-fat (farm gate) in respect of Octoher supply.
