MAJESTIC THEATRE
TO-NIGHT. Books, plays and poems have all in their turn contributed material that could be adapted to the needs of the sound film, and now, music takes its place as a provider of screen entertainment. "The Blue Danube," a romance based on the famous waltz by Johann Strauus, which will open a.t the Majestic Theatre to-night. Dorothy Bouchier and Joseph Schild" kraut, the co-stars of the B.D.F. talkie "Carnival," which had but a recent showing here, occupy the stellar roles, while that noted Continental star, Brigitte Helm, also has a leading part. A delicate little story forms the basis for the production, and it enhances the completed film's entertaining powers considerahly. A feature of th'e film which cannot be overloolced is the fact that at enormous expense the Royal Hungarian Tzigane Orchestra was engaged to render the numerous musical numbers.
