TO-NIGHT. A bride of one day is torn from the arms of her hushand and sentenced to life imp'risonment. Her hushand is accused of murder and sentenced to death. Yet both ar© innocent — the victims of another's cunning. Here you have the central situation of the new drama, "Ladies of the Big House." And not only are you a witness to the courageous struggle of a boy and girl to save themselves from those who would crush them, hut you also see the other women of th'e prison or the "big house" fighting against the disillusionment of despair and regret, and planning for the day when they, too, will he free. Sylvia Sidney, Gene Raymond and Wynne Gibson are featured in "Ladies of the Big House," which is now showing at the Grand Theatre. Others include a large group of women especially chosen for th'eir distinctive ability in character parts.
