On Tuesday evening last a most suecessful dance was held at Oturoa in aid of the school funds. Messrs A. Dibley and C. Robinson were M.C.'s. Two Monte Carlo's during the evening were won by Miss M. O'Connell and partner and Miss Hazel Brown and partner. Among those present were: — Mrs. G. Robinson (blue embroidered satin)} Mrs. Unsworth (black georgette), Mrs. T. Sutherland (floral velvet), Mrs. J. Brown (fawn satin), Mrs. D. Dibley (sea green silk), Mrs. W. Branson (fawn floral voile), Miss Dallas Cronin (floral crepe suede), Miss Iris Unsworth (green satin), Miss Eita Unsworth (sky blue silk), Miss Pat Cialg (floral tatfeta) , Miss Colleen Cronin (fawn and gold georgette), Miss M. Branson (white floral organdie), Miss M. O'Connell (pearl pink satin), Miss R. O'Connell (blue satin), Miss Elfie Keith (blue voile), Miss J. Keith (white spun silk), Miss Hazel Brown (wine satin), Miss T. Fugill (moonlight blue satin), Miss A. Fugill (cream satin) .
