BACON INDUSTRY
Melbourne, Nov. 15. It was proposed at a compulsory conference of the parties in the bacon industry dispute that the employees in two Ballarat factories must resume work, as a preliminary to further negotiations. The men later agreed to resume. The employers have undertaken to ' re-open all factories in Victoria when the Ballarat employees return.
