PROPOSED ECONOMIC CONFEREN CE AT GENEYA
-By Telegraph — Copyrlght)
London, November 14. The Sun understands -that the World Economic Conference is not likely to be held before April, if at all. An extraordinary . situation has arisen at Geneva where the preparatory monetary committee suddenly adjourned, and separated. Some memhers have returned to America without the prospect of an early re-as-sembling. It will be recalled that Mr. Ramsay MacDonald, the chainnan elect, urged that the conference should open in January at the latest, as that would have enabled a conclusion being reaehed before the war debts discussion. If it is not convened before April, it will possibly render the conference useless, particularly hecause the war debts discussions and settlenrent are essential in 1933.
