MRS. MOLLISON'S FLIGHT

Mollison (nee Amy Johnson) flying in a Puss Moth monoplane, named the Desert Cloud with a range of 200 miles, is attempting to break her husband's record of 113 hours 22 minutes to Cape Town via the same East Coast route. Crossing the Sahara Desert, she wore a deep blue costume. She is financing herself. The cost will be £200. Mr. Mollison took off simultaneously, hoping to escort his wife to the French coast,' but missed her owing to poor visibility.
