WATERSIDERS HOLD UP THE TAINUI AT NAPIER

Napier, Sunday. The refusal of the Napier watersiders to load frozen meat on to the Tainui, ' f esulted in. the vessel again being delayed when in' the roadstead on Saturday mornirig. The. watersiders maintained the attitude takeri hy them a week ago, with the result that nonunion labour was secUred to-day, and loading was proceeded with, starting . at 5"o'clock this morning. '• " As a preeaution against interference, approaches to the hreakwater wdre carefully guarded by the police. "•The 'attitude of the watersiders had given rise to considerable indignation, heeausei refusal to load the Tainui is a breach of the promise made a few weeks ago and has caused additional expenses to .be -incurred to load Hawkes Bay lambs in time to catch the' C'hristttias market' in England;
