Mr. J. Ruddy, of the Rotorua Motor Transport Co., accompanied by Mrs. Ruddy, left yesterday by car on a tour of the North Island. They propose to travel to Wellington via the East Coast and back home along the West Coast. They will probably be away a fortnight. Mr. M. G. Goldstein, B.Sc., of London, the famous international ehess player, is a guest of Mr. M. Roland, Eruera Street, and will remain in Rotorua for a few days. Miss MeCullough and Mrs. Wilson, of Queensland, are staying at the Geyser Hotel. Mr. C. S. Nathan and Mr. M. M. Louisson, of Auckland, are staying at the Grand Hotel. Mr. F. Duncan, of Wellington, and Mr. F. Campbell, of Auckland, are staying at Brents Rathgate House. Mrs. B. Grant, of Palmerston North is visiting her sister, Mrs. C. S. Dalgliesh, of Ranolf Street. Mr. J. Humphries, of Napier, Mr. Bridgeman, of Wanganui, and Mr. MeCullough, of Whakatane, are at the Geyser Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. M. K. Parkes, of Auckland, are at the Grand Hotel. Mr. C. H. Lawton, of Bay Shore, New Yorlc, is at Brents Bathgate House. Mr. and Mrs. Head, of Wellington, and Mr. Nancarrow, of Wanganui, are among those at the Geyser Hotel. ; * Mr and Mrs N. S. Bryce-, of Wel'ington, Mr. A. G. Armitage and Mr. F. L. Armitage, of Auckland, are among those at the Grand Hotel.
