BRIDGE EVENING

Last Wednesday evening the nursing staff of King George Y. Hospital entertained a numher of friends at a bridge evening held in aid df the recently formed Hard of Hearing League. ! The rooms w'ere eharmingly ,arI ranged with bowls of golden iceland i poppies and irises, and the hostess, ! Miss F. Stanton, reeeived the guests j wearing navy blue georgette. i Progressive bridge was played and I Mrs. C. H. Redhead proved the winner. Mr. Coates reeeived the consolation trophy.
