SOLICITOR FAILS TO ACCOUNT FOR £26,000 TRUST FUNDS Sydney, Nov. 8. Arthur Bernard Davis, a city solicitor and company director, committed suicide at Hunter's Hill in April last. Investigations into bankruptcy began in his estate to-day, when it was revealed that a trust fund of £26,000 was unaccounted for.Davis's private secretary said that he kept no books, not even a trust ledger. The only record of trust transactions relating to trust funds, comprised cheque butts and pass books. The examination is not completed.
