Auckland, Wednesday. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company reports: — At Westfield ox beef was penned in large numbers, and cow and heifer beef in small numbers. Values for all classes. receded from 5s to 10s. Extra choice .ox sold at' 17s per" 1001b, choice and prime 14s to 16s; secondary, 12s to 13s; prime young cow and heifer beef, 13s to 16s; secondary, 10s to 12s 6d. Heavy prime steers (no extra heavies) realised from £6 to £6 15s; lighter, £5 to £5 17s 6d; light, £4 to £4v17s 6d; unfinished and small, £3 to £3 17s 6d; heavy prime young cows, and heifer s, £4 to £4 15s; lighter, £3 7s 6d to £3 17s 6d; light, £2 10s to £3 5s; others, 30s to 45s.
