AD VERTISIN G ADVOCATED TO CATCH OVERSEAS MARKET
Wellington, Wednesday. In the House of Representatives today, Mr, J. O'Brien (Labour, Westland) asked the Prime Minister- (Rt. Hon, G. W. Mr. O'Brien said that the stocks of timber competing with rimu on the Australian market - are now running low and -th'e advantages of using rimu in preference to inferjor timber should be immediately brought under the notice of Australian builders. Mr. Forbes replied that the matter had already been nnder consideration by the Department of Industries and Commerce in conjunction with the' New Zealand Sawmillers' Federation, which body is, of course, directly concerned with the extension of the sale of New Zealand timber.
