Forecast: Winds moderate to strong and increasing south-westerlies. Weather: Some scattered showers at first in the east coast districts; otherwise fair and fine weather still prevailing generally; cool temperatures. -—■Following are the barometer, maximwm and minimgm thermometer, sunshine, and rainfall readings recorded at the Government Observation Sta> tion by the Rotorua Tourist Department for the 24 hours ended at 9.30 a.m. yesterday.
