HAROLD LOGAN WINS NEW ZEALAND CUP YALDHURST TO GOLD COUNTRY Christchurch, Tuesday. The New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club's spring nieeting was introduced at Addington to-day in fine weather before a large attendance. The course was in excellent order. Passing the mile post Royal Silk was in charge from Glenrossie, Free Adviee, Terence Dillon, Red Shadow and Kohara. Free Advice showed the way up the back to Royal Silk, Roi l'Or, Red Shadow, Glenrossie and Terence Dillon with Harold Logan last. Three furlongs from home Roi l'Or was the pilot with Royal Silk and Red Shadow next and Harold Logan moving up rapidly. The latter sustained his run and got up to win by two lengths from Glenrossie, with Roi l'Or third and Red Shadow fourth. Time, 4.16 2-5 — a race record. YALDHURST HANDICAP.
