Wellington, Wednesday. The Customs Amendment Bill, embodying tariff alterations coxisequent upon the Ottawa agreement,.was passed by the House of Representatiyes J shortly , after midnight. The Labour j Party challenged tariff alterations, on I the ground that they would jeopardise I New Ze'aland secondary industries, arid several clquses of the bili went to a divisiop, but the measure was finally passed without amendment. The.Rt. .Hon. G- W.: Forbes intimated that ivhen the House resumed to-day, th.e , Government intended to take the Electoral Amendment Bili, which makes permanent the f our-year Parliament. ,,, , The report .of the committee, which investijgated the breaches of priviiege, will also h.e dis.cussed. _
