GRAND THEATRE
TO-NIGHT. The jovial comedian, Eugene Pallette plays th'e role of a tight-wad millionaire who is taught how to spend money like water in the, hilarious and interasting comedy drama, "Girls Ahout Town," now at th'e Grand Theatre. With Lilyan Tashman teaching him the joys of luxurious living, Palette puts up a good struggle, but finally succumbs to the glamour of Lilyan's teehnique. And while Lilyan is making a good pupil of Pallette, Kay Francis falls in love with Paliette's young associate, Joel McCrea, who doesn't suspect that Kay hasn't been used to paying lier own bills. Naturally enough, one thing leads to another, and McCrea finally demands an explanation. How Kay, with the aid of the impetuous Lilyan, wages a campaign to prove to McCrea how much she loves him, brings to a climax one of the most entertaining of recent pictures.
