TO-DAY'S TROTTING

"MISERE'S" SELECTIONS The New Zealamd' Trotting Cup has the makings of a very good race 12 of the best trotters in New Zealand being engaged. Harold Logan on the back mark has not to break the world's record already held, to be the winner, and it is anticipated it will be pretty close. Others which have better times against them than the mark upon which they are at present, are Free Advice and Red Shad'ow. It is probable the flnish will be between these, and the order of preference in the betting is likely to be: Harold Logan, Red Shadow, and Free Advice. In the other events, the following are "Misere's" selections: Spring Handicap. — Gay Paree, Todd Lonzia and Dolores. Empire Handicap. — Mac Dillon, Eureka Boy and Great Parrish. Yaldhurst Handicap. — Cranleigh, Gold Country and Lindbergh. Dominion Handicap. — Wrackler, Biddy Parrish and Great Way. Riccarton Handicap. — Gold Tinge, Wrecker and Country King. Victoria Handicap — George Rey, Mountain Ore and Sir Guy. Hagley Handicap. — Rollo, Cranleigh and King Pointer.
