A Curious Find.

In the process of wrecking a car an employee of Mr. Tilton-Mist, of Ailto Parts, Ltd.i of New Plymouth, came across in the packing an unusual coin, which was taken to the Taranaki Herald office. It was one-third of a farthing, dated 188.5, with oak wreath and the Queen's head, with the" inscription H.G./Britt. Reg E.D. It was a beautiful coin and well preserved, but the puzzle is wliy it was minted at a time 'when there could be no real tise ,for it.
