Defeated on the voices. Divorce and Matrimonial Causes Amendment Bill (Mr Mason), read a second time pro forma. Tlie Currency Amendment Bill is to he ruled out hecause it involves an appropriation. British Nationality and , Status of Aliens Bill (Mr. P. Fraser) read . a second time and referred to the Statutes Revision Committee. New Zealand Institute lof Clerks of. Works Bill (Mr. Fraser), read a second time pro forma and referred to the Labour Bills Committee. Orders-in-Council Gonfirmatipn Bill (Rev. C. Car^),-16^ a second time, pi-q forma, and referred tp the Statutes Revision . Cpuqnittee. Gaming Amendment Bill (Mr. H. T. Armstrong), read a sqcond time, pro fonna, and referred to the Statutes Revisiqn Committee for a report.
